Philippines, Inc. humbly began it's operation back in June 1968 as an
importer of pocket calculators and silkscreen printers. Since then, it has grown into
a diversified company engaged mainly in the marketing and
distribution of equipment and machineries catering to various
industries such as that of the food processing and packaging
industry, printing and publishing industry, telecommunications
industry, construction industry, pharmaceutical industry and other
growth-oriented businesses.
Francisco L. Wong, Founder and Chief
Executive Officer of Handyware with his entrepreneurial spirit,
led the company through continuous growth and expansion over the
years. With the support of a professional team, he spear headed
the task of improving the overall success of Handyware ensuring
that the company is driven by hard work and pure dedication in
fulfilling its commitment to both principals and clients alike.
For 38 years, Handyware
continuously strives and dedicate its effort towards the
improvement and modernization of the country’s various
manufacturing industries. To date, it is considered as one of the
largest and most stable trading companies in the Philippines since
the 1980’s. With the
company’s vision of becoming the first choice of every
manufacturer in seeking out a long-term partner as they grow their
business, Handyware aims to consistently provide manufacturers and
consumers with the highest quality products available in the
market.
As Handyware maintained its leadership in
the Philippines, the goal of gaining more market became
increasingly apparent such that in the early 1990’s, a
subsidiary company was established in China and has been
successfully operating since then in three major cities namely,
Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing under Handyware China Limited.
The company to date has grown its workforce to more than 500
employees at a steady pace each year. After over a decade in 2002,
Handyware likewise began operations in Malaysia/Singapore under
Handy-Pack Systems Sdn Bhd, thereby further strengthening its
presence in the region. Soon, it will also be establishing a
branch in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Today, Handyware Philippines, Inc. is
composed of more than 200 employees. Along with its directors and
officers, the entire staff is committed in leading the company
into the future bringing to reality the founder’s dream of
helping others succeed through valued partnership and alliance.
Indeed, the Handyware group is more than just committed to
excellence but is distinctively the “Innovator of the
